Lions just tried an end around, which was defended, ball came out, Cards recovered. On replay, IMO the ground caused the fumble. Announcers thought so, too. But refs said ruling on the field stands. WTF?

You had to see it - the view of the ball was clear. The guy had the ball in his hand, up against his forearm, but not tucked into his body. However, it wasn't moving around like he had lost control (IMO) and didn't come out till his forearm hit the ground. It seemed pretty clear - ground can't cause a fumble, right?
I think this was a case where the ref read too much into the replay. If the ball was moving around, it was because the guy was being turned upside down. The real ref f**ked this one up.
Cards scored after being given the ball. Lions scored, but Cards responded. Lions got a turnover, but gave it right back. Cards scored again, now up 31-14.

The Lions BADLY needed to win this week if they had any hope of continuing this pretense that they are a playoff team. With Washington losing, they could've put themselves into the wildcard by two games.
