I added a player to my roster today because Semin finally became IR-eligible, BTW...not to add more skater games.

I don't think you're doing it, but Flubber certain is. He's done more of it in the first three weeks than everyone put together last season. I didn't mind it then and I still don't mind it now, but you were most upset over it and felt very strongly that this year it shouldn't happen. Just wondering why the about face.

I really do actually. I'd prefer weekly rosters over daily for just this reason. But i'm in the minority, I gather.

Undoubtedly I am doing it. I watched our discussions closely and understood it to be completely acceptable.

A lot of it is because I had drafted some busts. I actually wouldn't mind if a couple of other people started doing it because I think someone might drop someone I considered worth holding.

If someone wopuld trade me a decent right winger I think I could almost give it up entirely

NO problem-- The downside of churn is that you can lose someone pretty good and then they have a big night

I noticed you picked up Hamhuis (subsequently dropped) and then Kane after their brief stints on my roster-- Am I just fulfilling the role of highlighting folks for you?

If a player is dropped, how long is the waiver period? I ask because I have seen players added and dropped in like two minutes. Since such a player is dropped even before they make a player's roster, does any waiver period apply to them at all or are they treated as if they had never been picked up?

I can fully understand that a manager might simply change their mind as to the desired player but just wondered what impact this would have

The typical waiver period is two days, but if you pick up a player and drop him right away (same day) before he plays, he doesn't go on waivers and is available to everyone immediately.
