Nice try what? On Saturday I was 1 skater short of a full roster and I had an spot opened up due to the IR. So I added a skater playing Saturday to even it up.

Then on Sunday I was 1 skater short of what you had, and since I'm not exactly enamoured with Richards I dropped him for someone playing tomorrow to even it up again.

That's the difference between you and I. I added the guy to make it an even matchup in terms of starts, you add it to gain a competitive edge on what are essentially technicalities. I don't find such play to be fun or in the spirit of the fantasy hockey leagues (it's a bit like 6 on 5 "even strength" play), so I don't do it, but you don't have any problem doing it.

As I've said, that's what we've decided to permit in this league for whatever reason, but that **** doesn't fly in most leagues I'm in. You should feel lucky most people here don't care enough to switch to weekly rosters or something more fair to everyone.

Turns out you're right. I didn't pay close attention to the first few days, where apparently I had one additional skater game.

I just need Crosby to put out for me. I'd be in a better position if I'd drafted Iginla overall right now than Crosby.

With Norrena behind Leclaire, he may not get much play until Leclaire falters. But usually I would think Turco and Fernandez should get you enough starts.

Its a crappy break really since it turned a 3-1-4 into a 5-0-3

Turns out we had a draw, 3-3-2. Revised stats.

Also, MacTavish and Staois had a shouting match infront of the media after Calgary kicked the Oilers' asses Saturday night.

And on further review, I hate the Torres hit on Moss even more. Moss never even touched the puck, was blindsided by Torres' shoulder right to the head. He probably has a concussion (and he was sidelined last year for a concussion also). Torres is a tool and must be suspended. This is far from his first dirty hit.

What's also curious is, as far as I can tell no Edmonton media has mentioned the shouting match. Historically many criticisms have been leveled at the local media as well for basically being a mouthpiece for the Oilers...

Maybe the good ol' boys up north should subscribe to some Calgary papers.

Sakic seems to have been officially demoted to the "2nd" line.

Colorado's top two lines are:
Smyth (6pts) - Stastny (14pts) - Svatos (4pts) [14:07 EV TOI]
Wolski (6pts) - Sakic (8 pts) - Brunette (9pts) [12:50 EV TOI]

Two pretty potent lines though, to say the least.

Calgary's top two lines from Sat night:

Tanguay - Conroy - Iginla
Huselius - Langkow - Nolan

Nolan somewhat surprises me in the 2nd line...
