While ND should never lose to either Navy or the Air Force, Notre Dame's winning streak against Navy is by far the longest winning streak in football history -- one of those records that will never be broken. That's strange, according to Scout's OSU recruiting rankings were #11 in 2004, #7 in 2005, and #13 in 2006. Much better than ND's. So that doesn't fit your story.

There have been so many times that Navy should have won the game and broken the streak. Ask TCO.
