Well, if he is coaching in Ann Arbor next year, at least I'll be entertained every week.
I'd love him to get the job in Ann Arbor.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I wonder if this week Michigan gets back into the top 25?

From what I have seen, he's not a great coach. Have to agree with Imran here.

It's hard to put my finger on why. Perhaps it was a game where I saw particularly poor clock management. Probably, it's just a matter of him losing games that he should have won. I have the suspicion that he was left an overflowing cupboard of players from the prior coaching staff.

                      I went to Cal

and I can tell you that Cal is not a #1 team. At least not yet. If they can beat Oregon State, UCLA, and Arizona State, I will begin to believe.

Ummm... how in the high holy **** does USC manage to stay in the top ten of both polls despite losing at home as a 41-point favorite?

Michigan (quite rightly) vanished altogether from the polls after losing to App State. No way on God's green earth is USC a top ten team at this point in the season.

I hear ya, but who else is available this year?

Interesting true freshman QB stats through 6 games...

                              Quinn:

                              Attempts: 137
                              Completions: 59
                              Percentage: 43%
                              Yards: 637
                              Yards per Attempt: 4.65
                              Touchdowns: 3
                              Interceptions: 6
                              Sacks: 8
                              Yards lost: 43

*includes an 85 yard TD pass to Stovall against Purdue.

                              Clausen:

                              Attempts: 115
                              Completions: 70
                              Percentage: 61%
                              Yards: 524
                              Yards per Attempt: 4.56
                              Touchdowns: 1
                              Interceptions: 3
                              Sacks: 20
                              Yards lost: 147
Quinn had a better line, although the line did well in pocket protection for Clausen last evening.
