I wouldn't be shocked if LSU loses to Tennessee, Oklahoma loses to a undefeated Kansas or 1 loss Missou and Ohio State loses to Michigan, setting up a Big 12 vs. lord knows. With the way this season is going...

It's official.

Arizona upset Oregon 34-24, with another second-ranked team seeing its Bowl Championship Series chances end.

Since the Big 12 occupies the third through fifth spots in the BCS with Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri, those schools stand to benefit. And that Kansas-Missouri game on the Saturday after Thanksgiving looms even larger.

By the way, Arizona coach Mike Stoops did himself and brother Bob big favors with the win.

Dixon played against Arizona on a torn ACL

[Dixon] tore his anterior cruciate ligament during Oregon's Nov. 3 victory over Arizona State, according to coach Mike Bellotti, but he had rested it and felt as if he was ready to play Thursday night against the Wildcats.

Now Dixon will miss the rest of this season.

"He's a little bit despondent, because he obviously wanted to continue to play," Bellotti said.

Foolish kid, and even more foolish coaches. They should have shut him down the second they knew there was an injury of that magnitude. Every second he was out there on that torn ACL he was risking an even more catastrophic injury. Some things are just more important than winning a championship.

Big Ten Network



I HATE the Big Ten Network.

For those that aren't familier with it, let me explain some.

The powers that be in the Big Ten got together and dicided to crreate their own television network. Now they are taking their biggest games (ok, not their biggest, their second biggest games) and are holding them hostage until cable networks pay them big money to have them offered.

Some are upset at the cable companies. Screw that. I'm pissed at the Big Ten. It was fine just the way it was. Then they got greedy. Screw'em. I could go and watch the Badgers at the in-laws (they aren't home), but forget that. I'd rather not watch than bow to these kidnappers of quality college football.
