ESPN's no friend of the school. Weis is in there for a while.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Oh, they all think he'll be there a while, mostly due to the contract. But, they think he at minimum needs to swap out the entire coaching staff, in addition to agreeing with me that his recruits need to play well at some point ...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Big deal. Nobody in the program cares what you or ESPN think. I turn my back for a minute to install Windows and hardware drivers, just for a few minutes, and you kids start behaving this way.

Really is this so hard to understand? This seems different. Apparently, the information/speculation is coming from the Michigan pay sites.
If you think there's going to be an announcement before the OSU game, you are completely bat**** crazy. I'd be absolutely ****ing floored if any announcement were made until after Michigan's bowl game.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. Snoopy, I know you're a Michigan fan, but are you an alum as well?

There wouldn't be any financial hit to Miles; Michigan would buy out his contract, and he'd likely get paid as much, if not more, in Ann Arbor. He played and coached at Michigan under Bo. It is his dream job, by all reports. While I agree LSU is a more attractive position currently by most objective measures, keep in mind that not too long ago, LSU was an afterthought. Michigan has always been one of the elite programs, and there's no sign that will change anytime soon."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

Certainly it's possible he will turn this around - ND has such an amazing reputation that the recruits will come no matter what - but I think it will be with a different coaching staff under him, or at minimum a different coaching style, and a much stronger emphasis on recruiting. At some point he has to take some of the blame for this. Carr certainly deserves much of the blame for Appalachian State, after all...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Guy - my mother is a UM alum, and I was born in Ann Arbor (attended a semester of Con Law in utero ), but I didn't go there (U of Chicago instead, though I would have applied if UofC had not accepted me early action).<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
