The field is actually called a pitch and it doesnt seem quite durable enough to stand up to these big boys

The Bears look like crap today. Defense playing OK, but Griese is off his game. 3 INTs. Down by 9 with under 3 minutes left. Looks pretty bad.

And losing twice to the Lions is an embarrassment.

yeah they didn't like running the clock out. Pretty much have to do it when you are hanging on to a 3 point lead. Sloppy play by the giants.

switched to the final 2 plays of the chicago game. Confirmed what I believed. chicago sucks.

But fact is fact, revamping the Defense with all the trouble they got into..

First time I've been able to see my Lions play this year. And, well... wow. They aren't horrible. They might even be average. Good on 'em.

Oh, ease up, Dis. You seem to be living in 2006. I got off the bandwagon about 3 weeks ago. They are a mediocre team this year.

But that doesn't change my fandom.

The defense is OK, but undermanned and not forcing turnovers. The offense just sputters, with an aging offensive line, journeyman QB, and overrated RB. The inconsistency makes it almost impossible to sustain long drives. Which puts the defense on the field too much. I think there's only been one game where the Bears had the edge in time of possession this year. A tired defense is a vulnerable defense.

I think the QB is predicting to win 10 games. They got a good turnover ratio this year. They could do it (though I haven't looked at the rest of their schedule).
