Stupidest sports writer. Ever.
This genius gives some unsolicited advice to the Flames coach. Yes, this article is dated Oct 4, 2007.
Tingkai: this is what I mean about Toronto and the rest of the league. Even your sports writers know nothing outside of Toronto.

Dear Mike:
I know you are new to Calgary. So I thought I might give you some insight into your Flames.
...
Something went wrong with the back end of the team last year. Goaltending is a fragile thing. Miikka Kiprusoff was not the same goalie as in prior seasons. I know this is a sensitive point, but he is no Roberto Luongo (who was the most valuable goalie in the NHL last season). You never can tell, but I don't see the goaltending getting better.
...
While I am on the shootout, Jarome Iginla (three for four) and Alex Tanguay (three for seven) are your top shooters. The performance of Kristian Huselius last season was somewhat disappointing (one goal in five attempts) so give Byron Ritchie (two for three) a better opportunity to perform.
...
So these three new players will battle for ice time with the incumbents: Dion Phaneuf, Robin Regehr, Andrew Ference and Warrener. And they cannot all have the minutes they want.
