LIke I said, if they clearly ARE on injured reserve and its just some yahoo screwup that prevents them from officially getting there in yahoo, I would support off-line measures-- ie we let you "DROP" those two players but on the DAY they come back to active status you have to pick them up and drop someone else.

While I know Asher expressed concern about keeping track of that but it probably will only need to be dealt with for a short while until yahoo gets its act together.

I know on other issues you sometimes have to live with yahoo stuff but this seems so clearly a bug that it seems unfair for guy to have to keep those two on his active roster or risk them

well then maybe sometime I will have to go in there and see who I picked and how it works. I remember fooling around in there for a couple of minutes to see how the interface worked and intended to go back and pick a team . It should be entertaining to see how total apathy fares. If I understand that league, original selections are totally crucial so I was probably totally hooped at the outset

They're not totally crucial, but you only get to make 2 trades per week. And with the salary cap it makes it tricky.

But you can bank up a few weeks and do a whole team substitution if you wish. (trades do accumulate, 2 granted per week)

I wouldn't see just doing it for him, if we choose to do it. I would see the consideration being open to anyone in that boat.( a palyer actually ON IR-- people like me with a goalie on DTD are still screwed but thats just part of the game)


Hell I could keep the list and the rule would be that the day they come off of injured reserve, the owner MUST pick them up ( this is so if they then choose to release them, waiver rules would apply).

If I kept the list , I could just post it once a week so it doesn't get lost/forgotten until any yahoo issues resolve.


The only other option I see is for us to wait for yahoo to fix this and in the meantime some people have a disadvantage they should not have

Just an idea, but try this.

Go to Friday for Lineup

Switch to Classic for Roster Edit Type

In the drop down boxes IR should be an option for those players.

It sounds from what you said that perhaps you couldn't do it with the new drag and drop boxes perhaps?
