I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

How far will Brady Quinn fall? Miami needs a QB of the future. (Need one of the present, but that's another issue.)Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. - Ben Franklin
Iain Banks missed deadline due to Civ | The eyes are the groin of the head. - Dwight Schrute.

And I'm sure they are working hard on that. The question is is Gruden going to be dumb and make a over the top deal to get CJ.Originally posted by Ming
That pick still keeps the trade talks alive with Detroit...“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Nobody wants to pay #2 money for a WR, Ming. Detroit are a bunch of suckers for putting themselves in the corner with CJ.
BTW, I have a lot of respect for CJ. I think he's a great WR.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It answers to his relative value in a trade. CJ at #2 is an albatross.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. Oh please... you act like there are no WRs who have large contracts. The best WRs command large numbers. Nothing wrong with having a guy such a consensus #1 talent, considered to be the best WR coming out in years (if not decades) getting #2 money.
Put it to you this way, Larry Fitzgerald was drafted #3 when he came out. CJ is a bigger, faster Fitzgerald.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I know the contract values, but CJ (or Fitzgerald) is worth it. As much as RBs in that spot are.Originally posted by DanS
