Why would I care what a Yankee boot lick has to say?
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead
Halladay comes down with appendicitis and is out for 4-6 weeks; the closer is out for the season; and Glaus is hurt again, and might be heading back to the DL for a long time.
Poor Jays. I remember the good ol' days, when they were the Tigers' #1 rival... Christ, 1987 was amazing.

When you have to use 14 starters over the course of a season due to injuries, no counting injuries to relievers and position players, it's kind of tough.
Just ask Joe Torre about this year, although the MFY haven't been hit that hard yet.
When all else fails, blame brown people. | Hire a teen, while they still know it all. | Trump-Palin 2016. "You're fired." "I quit."
AL Central is a lot tougher division in the last couple of years. The Jays and MFY have been hit hard, so the AL East isn't near as competitive as usual, but I think the AL Central will still be the toughest division by year end. The bottom of the AL East just isn't getting any better.

Thankfully Tyler Clippard prevented that. Still, things are ugly. Abreu and Cano continue to "perform" well below their established levels, and of course ManCaveItch still sucks.
The gods continue to be against us, striking down Rasner in the 1st on Saturday. Granted, Rasner isn't an ace, but he's a decent enough 5th starter type. So instead we get Mike Myers in the 1st... yeah, I turned that game off in the 3rd or 4th.
The team continues to find ways to lose, though, as evidenced by Friday night's game. When Endy Chavez beats you...
Hope remains, but double-digit deficits are bad news.
Hmm. Abreu and Cano look better of late. If they're really coming out of it, things are looking up.
Wakefield was due to give up some runs. He's good. He's not great. HIs knuckler was up in the zone all night. Nice to see some 2-out RBI hits by the Yanks.
Wang had iffy command of his sinker, but managed to get through it. It wasn't pretty, but I'll gladly take it.
Moose v. Orc tonight. Both have ERAs north of 5. One of those is as it should be. The other is not. Hopefully both pitchers go out and pitch they way they should.
