  • Colorado wins, 4 points back of Calgary...

Calgary has Detroit and Nashville coming up, while Colorado has Edmonton and Edmonton coming up...

I'm going to go ahead an predict Calgary narrowly misses the playoffs, and Playfair very rightfully gets his ass fired.

      SUCK IT, nye.

Even with your cheap tactics, you are no match for me. Enjoy looking at my fine ass from behind, beyotch.

Not that I expect to do well this week against a real opponent...

      • I haven't checked, but if so, congrats. I'll get you next year.

I'll also be sure to note that you have a few less roster moves than I over the season. People can look at stats and make their own conclusions. Somebody needed to post this anyway.

I'm not against making roster moves. I make a lot of moves because I grow impatient with a lot of players.

I do not make moves for the explicit purpose of cramming in skater games when I'm behind, which is what you do. While this is technically not forbidden in Yahoo H2H, I do not consider them to be in the spirit of the play. It's actually never, ever happened in any of my other leagues because it's just generally considered by most people to be something that's not done.

Sure, you can do it this season, but talking about roster moves and trying to paint this as schedule whoring shows you do not comprehend the issue or you think everyone else here is stupid enough to confuse player moves with schedule whoring.

As for next season -- if you're allowed to do that **** next year, you won't have the opportunity for a rematch.

                  • Hard to believe, but it's going to get worse before it gets better.

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Sebastien Bisaillon on an emergency basis from the Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Bisaillon’s recall was made necessary when defenceman Ladislav Smid suffered brusied ribs in the Oilers 3-2 overtime loss versus the St. Louis Blues on March 17th.

I'd be fine with it - just like with my taxes, I'll make full use of the options available without breaking any rules.

                      • Was just talking with a teammate at work -- he used to play hockey a lot (junior). When he was 18 he was a defenceman for the St. Michael's Majors, and he had a 15 year old defensive partner -- Steve Montador.

Just thought that was pretty cool.

just so you know-- Sutter was on the Fan960 again this morning denying that he would ever go behind the bench again. He has consistently said that the coaching staff does a great job in preparing the team.

For some weird and totally unfathomable reason, I somehow think the Oil will take one of their two games from Colorado. This may defy all logic but when a team is 8-0-1 recently there is a part of me that thinks the streak MUST end. Combine that with the Oils huge losng streak and I figure that Rollie or Markkanen will just steal one.

Otherwise the sched reveals that the teams each have thei own fates in their hands. There are two Flames-Avs matchups. My hope is that by the April 3 one, the Flames will be comfortable.

A four point gap ?? It seems like nothing but something as simple as a Flames win tonight turns it into a six and the AVs will NEED to keep on winning without respite

Oh well, the Flames are cooked and finish with a bunch of tough road games anyways.
