  • i think our reserves will be more than a match for spurs. some good games this weekend, thought we were going to be right in the brown stuff when gilberto got his marching orders, but we were brilliant, especially that man henry! that was the sort of game we'd have lost last year.

looking forward to MOTD tonight, as i couldn't see it yesterday due to drinking commitments.

    • They don't show much of the Saturday games mate. The Sunday version will be all Everton-Reading and Spurs-Newcastle.

      • Martins
        Butt

        What a superb comeback!

        • Great goal by Martins (not quite as good as Henry's, though). Spurs could have had four in the first fifteen. Funny handbags between Chimbonda and Butt.

When Given got rattled the home fans should have chanted "Are you Lehman in disguise?".

          • We're great (temporarily).

But not as great as this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/6251529.stm

              • Feyenoord thrown out of Uefa Cup

Tottenham's next Uefa Cup opponents Feyenoord have been excluded from this season's competition.

Uefa has banished the Dutch club after the crowd trouble during their match in France against Nancy on 30 November.

The group stage game had to be stopped for half an hour because of trouble in the stands as Feyenoord trailed 3-0.

Feyenoord were set to play Tottenham in the last 32 knockout stage of the Uefa Cup and Spurs must wait to see if they now get a bye into the next round.

Seems like justice was done reading the BBC board, even Feyenoord fans agree it was about time they got some punishment.

Hopefully Spurs will at least get a game though.

                • Spurs shouldn't get a bye. They've had enough easy cup games this season as it is. Every domestic round against a lower league side until the League Cup semis.

                  • Most Spurs fans dont want a bye either. For one we still need more experience at this level, plus itll keep us sharp.

And as your post demonstrates, you lot would never shut up about it if we lift the cup.

                    • Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea

Mourinho's moaning about his lack of central defenders, as if he wasn't the manager. When he wins he's the "Special One", when he loses it's never his fault. What a cnut.

                      • For the team with allegedly the strongest and most expensive squad in the Premiership all it has taken is Gallas leaving and Terry being out for Chelsea to fall apart.

If Drogba hadn't decided to play football this season, instead of falling over a lot, they'd be struggling for fourth place by now.

A draw tomorrow would round off the weekend nicely for Liverpool.

Liverpool should always want Man U to lose - even against 3rd place rivals. Liverpool would still be a point ahead with Arsenal still to play at Anfield.

                          • ManU will lift the title this season unless Scholes gets injured. I'd happily see ManU lose but Arsenal dropping any points is good.
