      • I honestly don't care mate. IMHO you're first or you're nowhere.

I just can't believe that midfield of ManU is good enough to win the title, it looks like I'm going to be proved wrong.....

        • What can you say... Gutted, the usually solid Vidic forgot to mark Henry.

Has anyone seen united away fixtures, they are simply put hell

Or put another way - you've already had most of your easy games, which might explain the great start to the season.

What I want to know is when you're going to get injury problems to key players. We know all about how Chelsea have missed Terry, Drogba and Robben. Arsenal have had problems with Gallas, Henry, and now van Persie. What happens if you lose Ronaldo, Vidic or Scholes?

If ManU lose Ronaldo then the number of times they give the ball to the other team will be reduced by 50%. If they lose Vidic then Ferdinand will have to actually earn his money and if they lose Scholes their season is over.

              • Yep, we've had a very easy first half so it is quite deceiving the good start we had. But we all know Man U can play cracking football (Bolton 0 - 4). So it should be alright IF injuries stay reasonable. So far it has been pretty good and at the moment everyone is fit.

Im not to worried about the defense since we have very good cover (Brown, Heinze, O'Shea),if Scholes or Carrick gets injured we are shagged though. Everytime Carrick does not play we look rubbish (he did not play against Le Arse on Old Trafford).

As for van Persies injury, I can not feel sorry for him since if you have a injured/barely fit player, dont fecking play him!
                Not that I am bitter

But I am hoping that Rooney will finally hit form in the later half of the season, then we have a chance of the title. And I am also hoping that Sir Alex stops using that stupid 4-5-1, I can not stand seeing Rooney on the left wing. Such a waste. If we had played 4-4-2 agains you lot I would like to think we would have won.

You can stuff this down my throat at the end but my prediction is:

                1: Man Utd
                2: Arsenal
                3: Chelsea
                4: Liverpool

Savage is one player I have no sympathy for. In fact there will be be smiles up and down the land for this news.

RvP's injury was was not an aggravation of an existing problem, it was something new, I believe.

But Rooney was on the right wing against us. Nevertheless, just Larsson up front would help to explain the paucity of chances.

                      1: Man Utd

                      4: Liverpool
This is possible, and is the best I can reasonably hope for. There is the chance, though, than Chelsea will recover league form when Terry is back.

                        Utd
                        Liverpool
                        Arsenal
                        Chelsea

I was awera of that, he broke his metatarsal bone. Nevertheless when you play injured you are more at risk to hurt yourself.

But Rooney was on the right wing against us. Nevertheless, just Larsson up front would help to explain the paucity of chances.
My bad, my gloppy memory at work. Larsson is class though . Have you forgotten already when he won that champions league final in may?

They will probably regain their defensive capabilities but with Joe Cole out for the season and Arjen Robben injured (yet) again. They are prettyone dimensional going forward. They lack width. Saloman Kalou and Shaun Wright-Philips just arent good enough. Also Drogba cannot save them always with some last minute screamers and eventually Lampard stops getting lucky with deflections. The (apparant) rift between Mourinho and Arnesen/Abramovich (sp) doesnt help either. Last but not the least Ballack looks absolutely out of his element and so does Sheva.

So third place it is I hope.

I can not really say I feel very sorry for Savage, he goes on my nerves just like every other football player/fan in the world.

Well, they've got one. But that's not enough, apparantly - they want some free money too.

Speaking of money, Arsenal's policy for home CC matches is to reduce prices for the fans, but no, Spurs didn't want that for the 2nd leg of the semi, and demanded full price tickets - despite the fact that Arsenal's policy is not to play the first team.

                            Great first leg, though.

                            • was a cracking cup tie, some nice attacking football on show, from both teams.

spurs were much better first half, we played most of the football in the second, a draw was proably a fiar result. can't wait for the return leg.

A huge game, seeing as it's a tournament we don't really care about. We cannot afford our first defeat at the new ground to be against the old enemy, and they will be determined not to screw up again against a 2nd string. I have a ticket, and it will be a memorable night.
