Neither of the Kennedys nor MLK were just blown off. Their killers were punished.As were those involved in the other mentioned incidents. Still, although a terrible event in history, I don't think anyone compares one murder to 2,993 of 9/11. Pearl Harbor's loss was 2,386 and it was avenged.
The idiots who flw the planes into the buildings are all dead. Two evil muslim countries have been bombed to hell and are still in ruins. How much more avenging do you need ? 2 atomic bombs maybe ? 1 on Baghdad and 1 on Kabul ?
Besides, if this is the reason to remember this type of events, I don´t see much honoring the dead.

But I did notice that Slow never responded to Q^3 statement about why humor in the face of such situations is actually cathartic and helpful.
True; Q may have had a good point about how humor can help others cope with disasters or crises. So in some ways, Slowwy made a good point but on other hand, humor can be quite helpful.
But for me personally, I have never been able to make any jokes about 9/11 as a way for me to cope. If others use humor to help them cope, more power to them.
