It is unreasonable to expect me to distinguish the insane and stupid things you routinely say with the (apparent) intention that people take them seriously from the insane and stupid things you say as jokes. Especially when you double down and say "how is that a troll?" If nothing you say is ever intended to be taken seriously, then your sense of humor is pretty bad.

To clarify, doing bad things for a short time vs a long time is not my point. Rather that if you do a lot of killing all at once, it tends to be more noticeable.

I don't think the English's plan was to completely wipe the Irish and/or Indians off the face of the earth, which is why we traditionally see the Nazis as extra bad.
In any case, I didn't think that post was stupid because I don't think the actions of the British Empire are reprehensible (mostly I do), but because he goes on to declare that some cultures/peoples are 'better races' than the english, which is disgusting racist behaviour. He then goes on to say how they suffered more than the Jews; when you're discussing being on the receiving end of genocide, arguing who had it worse sounds like petty oneupism at best and borderline denial at worst.

That's why I think his post is stupid. Not that I expect any actual arguments from him, hence the curtness of my previous reply.

Also, yeah, English treatment through colonialization was more about casual racism. And agree, if your people are suffering and dying because of it, I don't think it really matters what the cause is from your point of view - the consequences are the same.

The English also helped with genocide in the the Americas and Africa, and did Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand on their own. The opium wars. We're still dealing with (and mimicking) their ****ery in the Middle East.
