Last month Xi even ordered map makers in China to convert all Russian city and place names in the Russian far east into Chinese place names because, he says, they were always part of China "since ancient times". Don't know about USA, but as for Russia, it is pretty obvious - Russians are the most divided people on this planet!
During the USSR we were migrating freely across the united Soviet country, then in one night in 1991 dozens of millions of Russians have become aliens in their new independent countries. Plus, 300 millions in USSR were Russian speakers by definition, because that was a state language in USSR, like English in USA. And they were under a heavy impact of Russian culture for centuries, because it was our common culture for centuries. So, after the fall of the USSR and after their own independednt countries have turned into complete sh!tholes, the people who lived there, even if not beeing an ethnic Russian (but fluent Russian speakers and at least partly of Russian culture) have started to migrate to Russia, because the standard of living and the level of freedoms in Russia is incamparable to their native places.
So, Russia attracts millions of both ethnic Russian and non-ethnic Russians from her neighbour countries.Comment
