    • Gods of humility as well. This probably explains how quickly the Russian military adapts to conditions on the front and updates it's tactics and strategies.

How long that "peace a cake" walk took you in reality? Over an half a century combined?

            • - A gunshot: Europe falls dead.

              - How are you?
              - I am... I am... fine, thank you!
              - That's good!
              - Oh, Russian vodka, good.
              - Come on!
              - Just tell me, American, what is the source of power? Money? My brother tells me so. You have a lot of money and so what? As for me, I think that the source of power is in truth! Who has the truth behind him is the most powerful! Just for example, you have cheated someone, got a lot of money, does it make you more stronger and powerful? No, it does not! Because you have no truth behind you! The one whom you have cheated to has the truth, thus he is stronger.

              - Da?!!!

              - da...

              - Dmitry Gromov money now!

                  • Precious stealth thingies are so stealthy, don't even need to put them into shelters. Ooops.

Ukraine’s military on Sunday said it had destroyed one of Russia’s newest and most advanced fighter jets in a drone strike on a military base deep inside Russia.

                    • One of the biggest obstacles to Russia's success in the special military operation has been the problem that it seems it has become far more rewarding in Russia to report to Putin something that he wants to hear than it is to report a truth that he doesn't want to hear and especially something he believes to be untrue. Russia as a whole might have good intelligence and awareness of issues but nobody ever wants to be the one telling Putin something he doesn't believe so every problem that requires a course correction from him can simply fester as an open wound treated solely by people near the problem attempting to throw each other under the bus (or out the nearest high-rise window).

Ukraine supporters living in Ukraine's various democracy allies no doubt are tempted to feel a bit of smug gratitude that their governments do not suffer from this particular glaring weakness that they see in Russia. Unfortunately for these supporters, however, many if not all of the supporters living in these democracies surely are receiving a large fraction or even all of their news coverage for literally all events in the entire world from media companies and organizations which are almost totally dependent for their income on maintaining viewership, readers, and subscribers from these same consumers of their product (news) who will likewise reward them (by remaining as consumers of their product) for telling them what they want to hear and punish them for telling them something they don't want to hear, especially something they don't believe to be true. The carefully filtered and tailored set of information these consumers receive creates the reality the voters live in on election day and it is this reality, rather than the painstakingly analyzed and corroborated one the intelligence community compiles for their leaders, which their politicians will campaign on when seeking office.

If you want to know what's *really* happening in the world your work may be at least as daunting as that faced by Vladimir Putin. There's really nothing for it but to read a wide variety of news sources pandering to a wide selection of consumers and even subject yourself to distasteful content pandering to idiots whose values and worldview is just wrong. Even if you're willing to do that your work may still be just beginning. You can't just plot a viewpoint midway between the two extremes on discrepancies. Instead, you still have a never-ending slog of difficult critical thinking to grind and a whole bottle red pills to consider downing if you *really* want to have the best shot of an accurate view of the world.

Probably not unlike Putin I find that waaaaay to much work and mostly, instead, I settle for trying to keep an open mind so as to at least feel a bit less blind-sided when some of those red pills later turn out to have such a heavy footprint of knock-on effects that their rabbit holes eventually see the light of day (often only after everyone has moved on so far beyond the relevant circumstances that nobody really cares anymore). Good luck with that.

                      • The visit is seen as Russia's sabre-rattling, amid tensions with the West over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

Putin might be preparing for a three-day invasion of the US. Or he's just evacuating his warships out of Ukrainian missile range

Must be, because we have lost in Afghanistan less than 14 500 soldiers, while you have lost in Vietnam over 60 000 for about the same period of time.
And we were quiting Afganistan we did so with our banners flying high, while YOU RUN from both Aghanistan and Vietnam in panic with your tails between your legs, leving your yesterday "allies" (your slaves) to their fate.
When USSR had left Aghanistan, he left a pro-Soviet goernment there, wich held againstr your Al-Queda (then know as the Taliban) for years, until we have stopped to send them weapons and spare aprts. While your puppets in Afghanistan and Vietnam and Iraq have fallen the next day after you have run away like cowards.

                          This is the difference!

                            Ukraine is a democracy?!!!
                            Really?!!!
With an outdated "president" Zelensky, who spit on Ukranian constitution and proclaimed himself a president for life since May 21, 2024?
Or amybe his predescessor olygarch Poroshenko, who took the power after the anti-constitutional coup sponsored by the Western "Democracies" was a democrat? The same Western democracies who have signed an agreement wit the legitimate president in 2014, forced him to withdrow Police from the capital and the next day took the power forgot about the agreement (where there should be a democratical election within a six months) they have signed?

Just like they have forgot about the Minsk peace agreements they have signed later!

What "various democracy allies" of Ukraine are you talking about?
You have RAISED and INSTALLED YOUR PUPPETS everytwhere since the end of WW2.
And your "various democracy allies of Ukraine" in Europe, Canada and parts of South Asia, are nothing but yoiur puppets and slaves (a large part of who are still MILITARY OCCUPIED by YOU since the end of WW2).

                            Keep your BS foryourselves!

They are nothing, but slaves and puppets of yours, that will do anything you cammand, even if that means a disaster for their own countries.
