Long article says Ukraine continuing to hit Russian oil refineries would not impact prices negatively, rather the opposite.

I'm not enough of an economics guy to say this makes sense or not, but we'll see.

Russian refineries hit -> Russia can't process as much oil -> Russia export that oil instead (for cheap because sanctions) -> oil prices go down.

It does make sense to me that Russia would try to restrain Iran, since they are buying Iranian weapons to throw at Ukraine, and more weapons thrown at Israel will mean fewer weapons available to throw at Ukraine. It can be inconvenient when your arms dealer gets into a shooting war.
