If the thing is settled soon, I'm very much interested in the issue of reparations. I donated for humanitarian reasons to Ukraine, and if the stuff I basically paid for got damaged or destroyed in the course of an illegal war of aggression I look forward to receive compensation from the good people running the Kremlin, who surely have the highest ethical standards.

Trump very much does believe Putin is a threat and he has said so for eight years. He has also said he wants to stop the dying from the hot war and replace it with more of a cold war style containment.

I can see that. I can also see Trump saying Putin is a great guy, Russia hoax, Ukraine you're on your own without my help so give Putin, a great guy, everything he wants.

I expect Trump to offer a fair deal of land for peace. Putin may or may not take it, I honestly hope he doesn't, if Putin doesn't take it then I expect Trump to become enraged, to take all weapons restrictions off, and to simply flood Ukraine with weapons.
