The russians could easily unfreeze the situation by pulling out russian units, their equipment and let the Ukrainians taking control over Donbas and Crimea.

lol, they did not have a peace deal, Russia was still attacking in the south/east and shelling civilians all over the place (but you seem to not care when Russia kills civilians).

Then why did Boris travel to Kiev to talk Zelensky out of a non-existent peace deal? We were shelling civilians for 8 years after the coup.
