I still remember when in 2014, Sean Micallef in his TV series "Mad as hell" made an animation based on Dad's Army of the 1970s going "Who do you think you are kidding Mr Putin?" thinking that their invasion then would lead to World War Three, like when Germany annexed Czeckoslovakia (or however you spell it correctly) back in 1939.
