Twitter has taken advantage of the American people by gaining special privilege through the government. That has given them a terrifying amount of power of us. They are now using that power to get more power and silence Americans. You're fine with this because you suck lemons.

I totally disagree with the Twitter Perma Ban... A limited ban for breaking their rules, yes. Fair and to be expected since it is their platform and their rules. However, the Perma Ban seems over the edge to me. And while "some" claim they have special privileges, that's not unlike many other industries who the government gives advantages too... The actual power of Twitter comes from how somebody uses, as Trump has proved. He has become a master of welding it's power to push his agenda and bully/destroy his enemies. But, Trump has other alternatives to continue to push his agenda on the world, but they just aren't as big as Twitter.
I also think this Perma Ban will bite Twitter in the ass in the long run. Many legislators have put the social media sites in their cross hairs, fairly or not... and this only makes them a bigger target to those.

Dude, you're just being a douche. The simple fact is that Trumpists will never concede, and no amount of accommodation will satisfy them. Week after week, it went from "we must have recounts" to "we have affidavits" to "let the court cases play out" to "SCOTUS must weigh in." The nation has patiently waited while all these things happened, and not one of them indicated any significant election fraud or error. NOT ONE!. And every time they lose, Team Trump just moves the goalposts again. Now, over 9 weeks after the election, the next line of attack is "Dominion machine audits." Sorry, but you ran out of rope when Trump's hand-picked conservative Supreme Court turned away both him and his pathetic excuse for a legal team, then organized a bunch of fanboys and incited them to assault our nation's Capitol. Treason and sedition are not strategies. They are crimes.

We know damn well that a legit audit will turn up nothing, because it would have been Trump's first line of defense if there was actual evidence of wrongdoing - just like the "massive fraud" that they kept harping on in press interviews, but could never actually detail in court. We also know that it wouldn't stop there; this is just another delay tactic. Time after time, Team Trump's attempts are disproven by recounts, disproven by video, tossed out of court, etc. So please forgive us for being more than a little skeptical of "just wait for machine audits."

Time after time, your claims boil don to, "If you don't agree to my demands, you are guilty." Well, that's not how the real world works, my friend.

The Supreme Court and the high courts of the contested states have ruled. The fact is, Trump has been granted over 2 months to try and overturn an election he lost in a landslide. He and his MAGA army have produced zero evidence of any voting fraud, and now their highly theatrical yet deadly coup attempt at the US Capitol has been pushed aside, but only after mob attacks on police, and damage to federal property, including staining the wall, floors, and statues with blood and feces along with broken glass, stolen computers, etc. Disgusting.

• 57% of Americans told Reuters they wanted Trump removed from office immediately.
• Nearly 70% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s actions before the riot.
• Only 12% of Americans approved of the rioters.
• 79% of Americans described the rioters as “criminals” or “fools.”
• Five percent called them “patriots.”
