  • My “side” is Democracy. Do you even research ANYTHING ? Wait, who am I talking to.

The guy admitted it himself and the Postmaster General was called before Congress. Multiple judges ordered the sorting machines to be reinstalled. You are asleep at the wheel dude. Wake up already.

Trump, a longtime USPS critic who has falselyclaimed mail-in voting will lead to voter fraud despite a lack of evidence, said Thursday that he’s holding up a stimulus deal over Democratic demands for funding to USPS and for mail-in voting, saying Democrats “need that money in order to make the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots.”

    • Fox News is debunking itself on voting machine claims, not out of a sudden change of mind though:

Fox News has taken a further step back from Donald Trump’s baseless allegations of election fraud with a bizarre apparent legal retraction aired during shows hosted by some of the president’s most fervent supporters.

First broadcast on Fox Business on Friday, on Lou Dobbs Tonight, and repeated over the weekend on shows hosted by Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro, the segment was presented as a news interview with election technology expert Eddie Perez.

In the three-minute video, described as “a closer look at claims about Smartmatic”, Perez answers questions posed by an unidentified interviewer about a Florida company that provided voting systems for the November election.

Perez is asked questions such as “Have you seen any evidence that Smartmatic software was used to flip votes anywhere in the US in this election?” and “Have you seen any evidence of Smartmatic sending US votes to be tabulated in foreign countries?”

He says he has not seen any such evidence.

Earlier this week, Antonio Mugica, chief executive of Smartmatic, sent legal notices to Fox News and two other networks promoted by Trump, One America News Network (OANN) and Newsmax, assailing them for spreading “false and defamatory claims” in a “disinformation campaign”.

“They have no evidence to support their attacks on Smartmatic because there is no evidence,” Mugica said in a statement. “This campaign was designed to defame Smartmatic and undermine legitimately conducted elections.”

      (...)
      Fun bit further down:

Perez said Fox News’ coverage of the election was “speculative and not based in fact” and conspiracy theories peddled by hosts were “harmful to enhancing public confidence in the legitimacy of election outcomes”.

“I am not accustomed to seeing Lou Dobbs air very straightforward factual evidence,” he said.

          • Engaging With Trump’s Die-Hard Supporters Isn’t Productive

The loyalists who still cling to conspiracy theories should be deprived of the attention they seek.

Nonetheless, ordinary people worn out by the dramas and lies of the past four years have a right to refuse to take Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters seriously. To reject further debate with people whose views are completely incoherent is not only understandable, but sensible.

I am talking about the people who are giving Trump their full-throated support to the very end, even as he mulls a military coup; the people who buy weird paintings of Trump crossing the Delaware, or who believe that Trump is an agent of Jesus Christ, or who think that Trump is fighting a blood-drinking ring of pedophiles. These supporters have gone far beyond political loyalty and have succumbed to a kind of mass delusion. It is not possible to engage them. Indeed, to argue with them is to legitimize their beliefs, which itself is unhealthy for our democracy.

I don’t want to treat our fellow citizens with open contempt, or to confront and berate them. Rather, I am arguing for silence. The Trump loyalists who still cling to conspiracy theories and who remain part of a cult of personality should be deprived of the attention they seek, shunned for their antidemocratic lunacy, and then outvoted at the ballot box.

            • Barr must be part of the deep state conspiracy against Trump:
Barr just said at his final press conference: NO election fraud undermining Biden’s win
              NO to seizing voting machines
NO to special counsel to investigate election fraud
NO to a Hunter Biden special counsel AND he said Russia, not China, hacked the US systems

I don't think Barr will get a pardon - Trump will still be mad at him when he's thrown bodily out of the WH next month.

Barr will probably make an excellent expert witness against Trump. He's probably read the 'interesting files'.

Well, it is extremly funny when the only proven case of voter fraud
comes from among the suppoorters of the party who floods the system with baseless claims of voter fraud by the DEMs

Trump bootlickers will deny voter suppression exists, but let's see what the courts come up with.
