Not exactly block, it interferes with its replication. If you look up my posts in this thread, I explain how this drug and anti-body plasma can be combined with Actemra and Heparin to treat the sickest of Corona Virus patients. If you want to block the virus, there are indications that ACE2 blockers like Irbesartan might work (it is normally used to combat high blood pressure).

I don't care much for us/uk and their unbelievable drama but I care about the people.
Alas there are too few like mobius and too many like scum.
I'm saddened by belgium who ****ed up beyond belief almsot as much as the US and of course italy.
US never had a chance because only socialism can defeat the virus.
It's very simple and we don't give a ****.
Greeks value human life, and that's a very greek trend.
I was amazed by the racism of some english media claiming italians like to hug and that's why they screwd up.

It's about valuing human life. Capitalist countries don't and that's why they suffer.
That's my take on it but I'm sure there are many readings.
Universal health care putting lives above profits is what made Greeks be alive today when almost the whoile of europe is dying. And we're talking like wise countries like italy or spain.
It's not because the gov is left wing, it isn't. it's because the very soul of the greek is deeply humanitarian, deeply socialist (even if he doesn't know it or even despises it, on surface) that it has FORCED the gov to act accordingly.
About america, it's only drama but it is natural. Neoliberalism means covid wins. Socialism means humans win. And as this goes on this will become clearer and clearer.
Apart from this self evident (to me) truth, a reading on the greek psyche says that he values human life dearly. And does not under any circumstances consider it a game, or a toy.Comment
