I guess the next logical question would be:

Is Solver throwing his hands up and walking away? (which is understandable)
Should we give Aeson database privileges again and let him have a whack at it? (which I think he never should have lost that access to begin with)
Should Ming learn to program and we wait for him to fix it himself?

Every day I log in and look for the name "Solver" to be online. But sadly these past 3 days no Solver to be seen.

I mean, I would hope that the site owner has a way to communicate 'off-poly' to a person to help him when the site breaks. Surely he would have the foresight to know that, especially here, things would break and he would need help?

Webmaster Tools sent me a message that it had found "hacked content" on Apolyton. No other info as to what it was.

I mentioned about a week ago, my security system really dislikes this site right now. I need to override to post. All forums are 'not secure'. I haven't tried any other parts of the site.

No worries, I've been notified of this. The problem is a bit confusing so I'll need more than ten minutes to fix.

Sparky, can you let me know which security software you have? Apolyton is not on any of the major security blacklists as far as I can see, and is also reported as safe by Google.

I use both Malwarebytes and ZoneAlarm. The message is 'Your connection to this site isn't fully secure.' This is the only site that receives such a message. It only appears in post able forums.

Ming, did you try changing your avatar since the problem appeared?

I tried to put an Avatar in to see if that would help. I have no clue whether it was the exact same avatar. From the sound of your question, I will assume it wasn't

Ah, that explains it. I just saw that most avatars are restored, but a bunch weren't. My guess is that people who tried to set avatars during this problem period really got reset to the default, which seems to be the case for you, and me as well - I tried another picture during the outage.

So Aeson and others who still don't have avatars will need to reupload them (or I can dig out a copy if you don't have the files).
