I'm very well thank you. I just got back from aerobics class (something else it's called) and I'm drinking beer.
Also, the great new deal is:
did the US try to assassinate chavez multiple times spending millions while all he was doing was aleviating the suffering of the average venezuelian?
pchang: No, you're just mad blondie didn't suck your dick.
DUDES, the only decent to lunacy is thinking you are right.

No one here is defending our government. We're just saying it sucks to be in that hell hole of a country now. The millions of people fleeing seem to lend that some support.
YET one delusional person here seems to think everything is fine there. Yeah we suck, fine. But we're living a heck of a lot better than those poor slobs. And probably better than you since you seem to be living your life in a bottle to escape your pain. (based on you incoherent ramblings here.) and making dozens of posts back to back. Who does that. besides lunaticsIt's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Research Platos' cave. You're watching shadows and think it's reality.
When I'm drunk I just come here.
Living in a bottle? I doubt you'd last long doing what I do but I digress.
I'm pretty sure I live far better than the lot of you but the difference is I want everyone to live better.
Anyway, I see some sort of re-attachment to reality in your post so I'll cut you some slack and come back later for a responce. Absence of confronation is boring

The simple answer to that is yes. And an edit or two is far from compulsive. Wait for it........It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

You seem to fall in the same trap as rah who's like a broken record asking me about corruption.
I don't give a freck about corruption. I give a freck about what the real people think, feel and how they live like. And under chavez they lived way better.
Would a corrupt leader that would sell all the country's resources to some freckup ed up local elite and the murderous scum up north be better and less corrupt?
Under Chavez, they lived better for a while, but now they are way worse, so this way is clearly not good either

The murderous clowns simply can't install their puppets anymore. It's very good they can't. Humane.

I understand what you're saying and I don't think that people like chavez are the optimum, obviously. The optimum (for me) is a social democratic model harvesting the best of communism and capitalism. Free markets, regulated, social state, freedom of enterpirse and above all rule of law tuned to the benefit of the less fortunate.
All I'm saying is that for some time people like chavez are far better than the alternative muppet stooges, on the road for a more armored democracy away from various "benefactors".

Populist governments throughout Latin America for the past 20 years have consistently worked upon eroding Democratic checks and balances and the separation of powers, and in the car of Venezuela going as far as voter suppression, incarceration of political opponents and outright election fraud.
I don't consider 10 'better off' years a good trade-off for the current mess, since the long-term prospects for Venezuelans are now much worse than before Chavez.Indifference is Bliss

Well you don't know wether things would take a turn for the better under maduro. Then the 10 years better off could pay off.
I believe there is a clear dichotomy. [stupid comment]I hope that the future of venezuelians are better. I admit that they have very powerful friends. Russia, half of Europe. I only hope that this leeds to better representative democracy. I know FOR SURE that it will be better compared with whatever american had in mind.Last edited by Bereta_Eder; March 26, 2019, 06:36.
