There you are wrong. It is a shame how he took a poor country and made it poorer.

            same, everywhere

when neoliberal junta was in place 60% of polulation was below poverty.

            **** you nestor
You should go there and check it out for yourself. In any case, the governments before Evo were really worse.

In any case, I really wouldn't put gas prices being high as any particular skill on his behalf.

Also, I don't really like 'presidents' who make a plebiscite to change the constitution to be able to get a third term in office, loses it, and then decides he will be president again regardless.

'My' ruling class? We haven't had that close political ties with Bolivia.

I also am most definitely not a member of the Argentine ruling class lol.

If Morales was really that good, Bolivia would be a lot closer to how Peru is.

                        I don't know.

They would certainly be much better than Paraguay, which they aren't.

Also, I don't mean nestor that you are in the class thar rules but that you are in the privileged class. An argentinian who doesn't like che? Left wing, you aren't. And from what I gather in latin america when one is not left wing, he's pretty much a fascist. Liberalism (which is another word for fascist but that's another discussion) doesn't flourish in those parts. I'm not saying you're as bad as dinner or pchang that want whole countries destroyed and crushed under the authoritarian boot of the slavery of the uncotrolled market and teh stooge puppets in "power" that help shiphon the stolen goods abroad, but you're not sunflower either. (on a personal level I like you but we're talking politics now)

                              1) very false dichotomy. Also, where do you take that I don't like Che? I mean, I'm not overly find of him, but he at least has some good sides to him (his early days, later on power got to his head bad). The military did exactly what they weren't supposed to do, and really have no saving graces (of course on an individual case things are much more nuances, and the political use of Justice over the past couple of years is downright disgusting).

As for labels like left or right wing, I find that they are pretty useless, except for when you want to polarize people against someone (usually not with a good intention).

I am definitely against governments who claim they are 'for the people' and only give out free handouts, which do nothing to really improve peoples' conditions, and don't make any real change which could actually do (and in fact do the opposite, since it is in their interest to keep them poor and needy, dependent on those handouts, since it gets them votes).

Your fantasy puppet show view of Latin America is cute though.

He likes Chavez and Maduro too which really shows how he hates people and wants countries to be run into the ground by dictatorships. His projection is really sad.
