Watched season 1 of "Wednesday", which is an absolute riot.

Then did a bit of "Barbarians" which is a Kraut show about Germanic tribes vs. Romans, Teutoburg Forest etc. Good production value, but not on par with "Rome". IMO an uneven mix of great/pretty good here and boring/cliché stuff there.

Overall I found Netflix movies/shows have a tendency to go into unneeded lengths often, but maybe that's just me. Those things I absolutely enjoyed did not have it fortunately.

But some of the mid-range stuff seems to have too much filler stuff, where the cam just lingers on seemingly for ages, after the point of whatever scene has already been made abundantly clear.

After a break, I'm now 6 episodes into Blacklist. Fun concept, well written, and I hadn't realized how good an actor James Spader really is.

It only took me 20 years to watch The Sopranos but I just started the last season.
I don't like ANY of the characters. They're all irritating.
