  • Totally bogus! How can Trump know how to get away with lying if he isn’t told what lies can be disproven? WHAT ABOUT HER EMAILS, BENGHAZI?

    Comment

    • This appears to be Mueller's theory. Someone that knows Assange told Corsi that Assange was going to release the emails. Corsi told Stone. Stone told the President.

That's someone telling the President that someone told him that someone told him that someone was going to do something, and two of those people are conspiracy theorists.

      1) No crime, even if Stone did tell the President.

      2) This is the kind of stuff that is going to be in the report, and people like Dinner are going to just repeat CNN lies, saying the President is a criminal and colluded with Russia (not a crime and didn't happen).

It's called a perjury trap. Did you even read?

A perjury trap is a form of prosecutorial misconduct in which a prosecutor calls a witness to testify, typically before a grand jury, with the intent of coercing the witness into perjury(intentional deceit under oath).

        • It is easy enough to avoid a perjury trap:
          Just tell the truth

Of course I know that it is a totally novel concept for Donnie and that he may have no experience with the technique of "telling the truth" ...
but he could, at least, try to do so, once in a while

You aren't supposed to set a perjury trap. Frick. WTF is wrong with you? Seriously.

Claims of a perjury trap are common when perjury charges result from testimony before a grand jury, but are rarely proven
No US federal court has ever accepted a motion to dismiss because of claimed perjury trap.

It is unethical to set a perjury trap, especially when dealing with a person who is innocent of all other crimes, and whom you are conducting opposition research against with police state power.

Whether the person is innocent of all other crimes is subject to investigation.
And in contrast to Trumps WH with its huge amount of leaks (some of them probably even intentional),
the Mueller investigation stays tight-lipped about the progress of their investigation.

It's obvious that he's innocent. That's why Mueller is focusing on false statements. His investigation has NOTHING to do with anything the FBI knew before. Everything was started up when he was appointed.

You can keep claiming that he's guilty, but everyone knows that he isn't. Again, this is a dishonest game that you constantly play.

              • Kid, if you read the wiki article you quoted, you’d know for it to be a perjury trap the question has to be immaterial to the case. Simply asking a question about the case is not a perjury trap even if a lie is expected as an answer (which anyone sane has to expect in answer from Trump).

Trumps business in Russia is material to the investigation, so questions about it cannot be a perjury trap.

No it isn't. It's about getting political opposition research.

                • Basically there is no fricken case here whatsoever. Everything is immaterial.

                  • Bill Clinton has also done business in Russia. So you're saying that it's ok to investigate him for "Collusion" (not even a fricken crime), set a trap for him, and then charge him with perjury?

You wanna think on that some more?

He'd only fall for such a trap if he lies under oath.
