That is a mystery, given his apparent love for separating children from their parents.

Give me a viable alternative. Right now Dems are doing nothing but aiding and abetting illegal alien criminality. If that is where they stand then I am not voting for that.

You really need an alternative for separating children from their parents while their asylum request is being processed?
How about keeping them together with their families and if asylum is denied repatriate them together?

I would love that. Too bad Clinton signed a settlement with a court, when he did not have to do so, which legally prevents that. Rather screwed up don't you think?

Do you see why so many people are frustrated?

Read more about the horrible Flores agreement and how Clinton sabotaged what would have been an excellent fix.

So we are back to what is the alternative?

Clinton signed the Flores settlement making it legally binding to not hold minors with their parents, just to undermine that formerly standard policy. Illegal aliens have spent the last 20 years grossly abusing this settlement because they knew if they brought a minor with them they legally had to be released after just 20 days. It has become a flood and a complete f'ing joke.

So either end Flores so that the whole family can be held together and deported together or else seporating rhem becomes the only legal option besides just letting them all go free to break the law. It is obviously immoral to just let criminals go free so seporating them becomes the only legal option.

Flores could be changed but Dems refuse because they know the issue can be used as a weapon to pander to ignorant fools. I say call their bluff and carry it out.

We also have a booming economy that’s way too top heavy ... and a demographics problem. Need more workers, not less.

I'm sorry, but why the **** does the government need to detain the parents for more than 20 days? If they're here illegally, deport them. If they're here legally, release them. Is that so ****ing hard?

Smearing people and then laughing about it isn't just. Everyone knows that.

Telling the truth isn’t smearing. Even if the truth hurts. The facts are Trump admin wants family separation back, and have specifically said because they think its a deterrent.

You said that children were ripped apart from their families. That's a smear. They were separated as is normal practice when children are in the company of an adult and that adult must be detained. Don't talk to me about telling the truth.

Ripped from their families is synonymous to taken from their families or seperated from their families.

The policy of family separation the Trump administration implemented and are considering reinstituting... Do you think it is just?
