You yourself say that it is no muslim ban buit a ban on inhabitants of a limited number of nations.
Actually, the reason why the first drafts of the ban were not accepted was specifically this, i.e. that it was sold as a muslim ban.

That`s the difference between leading one of Trumps companies and leading a nation.
In a nation there are procedures that have to be followed.

No, if Mattis says something that doesn't automatically mean that the Pentagon has to follow his orders ...
at least not if this is against the procedures that have to be followed by the governmental bodies

Just as Trump is biting on granite if he doesn't follow the correct procedures
(example: Trumps anger that he cannot just order Sessions to stop the Mueller investigation )

    Hm ...
so, when I have the word of Trump (notorious liar and confessed layman when it comes to politics) who says he just can order the Pentagon via Mattis to spend the money
and I have the word of 2 experienced senators (in my last link) who say that it doesn't work this way
    ...
    whom do I trust

    Very difficult question

    ...

    not

Except they can't spend US military spending on a wall without authorization from Congress.

Their power can be put in check you idiot. Trump isn't an emperor.

And yes, Trump doesn't have the authority to set immigration policy on his own.

Just because Congress passed a spending bill doesn’t mean President Donald Trump could now treat the pile of taxpayers’ cash as a general fund to spend as he pleased on a huge and costly wall along the U.S.-Mexican border, aides explained to the President. Contrary to Trump’s experience as a real estate and marketing executive, this is not how the federal budget process works. The chatter on cable couldn’t trump Congress’ constitutional control over the budget.

But Trump wouldn’t hear it, according to two Administration officials. In Trump’s mind, Congress gave the money to the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis works for Trump, and Trump sees the wall as part of the United States’ defense. Ergo, he wants the Pentagon to build that wall. What was the point of being Commander-in-Chief — with a defense budget he boasts is “historic” — if Trump couldn’t make the military do his bidding?

"We conclude that the Department of Defense has no legal authority, with or without a reprogramming request, to use appropriated funds for the construction of a border wall."

CNN reports that he was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, experienced in Risk Assurances
Dallas police are in the process of obtaining a warrant on manslaughter charges against a police officer who shot and killed a man after entering an apartment she mistakenly thought was her own, police Chief Ulysha Renee Hall said Friday.

I wonder what probability he would have given the risk to get shot and killed in his own appartment, by an off-duty police officer

Nobody needs to conspire to weaken Trump and make him look bad. He does that all by himself.

And yes it doesn't matter if they print facts? What type of parallel ****ing universe are you in?

And no, they can't spend military funding to build the wall.

Kidiot... just confirms it. He lives in Trumpian world. There is no such thing as facts in Trumpian world.

    And...

I thought Mexico was paying for it?

So now the US taxpayers have to flip the bill for a vendetta wall that would do absolutely nothing to improve security?

Just another stupid moronic distraction from the mountain load of scandals plaguing this administration, and plummeting approval ratings.

Your argument is that they CAN'T do it, but now you moved the goal posts to they won't.

They simple haven't made the decision yet.
The military can't in their capacity fund the wall, and Congress could easily turn around and cut their funding if they see resources being misused on a wall and not on military projects (this could happen especially after the midterms when republicans lose control of the House and possibly the Senate - seeing that Ted Cruz is now in trouble).

A wall doesn't create jobs, moron.

And yes, the military CAN'T DO IT. They don't have the discretionary funding to do it.

The military is in some cases short on cash (despite a large budget), and are having issues with being stretched much too thin because of global deployments. They don't have enough manpower to partake in some stupid vendetta wall that Donny wants to build.

By the way, there are already concerns that military spending is reaching too high and pushing the US government deeper into the red.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.4e2eabbe3c4c

But you don't care about that... you only cared about the deficit when the black guy was in charge.

Anyways back to the issue of manpower:

    https://www.military.com/daily-news/...tary-says.html

    https://wjla.com/news/nation-world/w...uitment-crisis

They have recruitment shortfalls. The same applies to the national guards of various states. They won't be building a wall.

No you're not. Try again. Trump can't just use the military to build a wall. And besides that the military's budget is already used for other projects.

So you're willing to take the military, try to use its funding (which Trump can't), and divert resources away from more important matters? Maybe try helping out veterans instead of building a stupid ****ing wall.
