I suspect so. The big question has always been how she got into the apartment. It is being reported that the door was either unlocked or ajar. In any event, she had no difficulty entering.

If that is accurate, she has a case for justified use of deadly force. It might not be enough to save her career, but it should be enough for the higher standard of reasonable doubt.

Yup. Its extremely rare for a cop to be convicted. The charges in this case are completely inadequate, so I wouldn't be surprised if what you say becomes true.

A recent story started to help improve my perception, and then this just took it two steps back.

The story that I'm discussing was this:

15 years isn't enough, but this is an extremely rare story in this country where a cop does get convicted.

This lady will get off I think.

    This story absolutely infuriates me.

This cop entered a mans home and now witness testimony contradicts her account. She shot and killed this man, and she was already given special treatment. And then she is being charged with manslaughter, meaning she probably won't do much time. Absolutely a miscarriage of justice.

A clear double standard. A young 26 year old man with a promising career and academic background is now gone because of this reckless cop.

President Trump's golf cart rentals in the U.S. have cost taxpayers $300,675 since he took office, TMZ reported. The figure only refers to Trump's domestic golf outings.

The total expense of Trump's golf outings, including Secret Service protection, comes out to an estimated $77 million.

He also thinks that the UN should be dissolved 'cause America doesn't need it, and international cooperation is for commies.

The US has threatened sanctions against the International Criminal Court if it goes ahead with prosecutions against Americans.

The court is currently considering prosecuting US servicemen over alleged detainee abuse in Afghanistan.

National Security Advisor John Bolton said the US would do everything "to protect our citizens".

The US is among dozens of nations not to have joined the court, founded in 2002.

The court investigates and brings to justice people responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes, intervening when national authorities cannot or will not prosecute.
    ....
Giving his reasons for opposing the court, Mr Bolton cited the threat to "American sovereignty and US national security".
He said the ICC lacked checks and balances, claimed "jurisdiction over crimes that have disputed and ambiguous definitions" and failed to "deter and punish atrocity crimes".

It was, he said, "superfluous" as "domestic judicial systems already hold American citizens to the highest legal and ethical standards".
Trump's security adviser says the International Criminal Court is "illegitimate" and "dead to us".

It always boiled down to the money Kaepernick was demanding vs. how desperate the team was. A rash of QB injuries combined with an acceptance of the veterans minimum was always required.

The only real issue will be if the campaign continues to be a success and maybe even win an award, will some savvy NFL exec decide it would be a good PR move to sign him to a contract.
