A 97000% price increase between the years 2000 and 2018, for an important Epilepsy medication (Acthar).
This drug, invented in 1930, went from 40$ per vial in 2000 to 39000 $ per vial in 2018

A Drugmaker (Questcor) actively bought out all competitors that sold the drug for cheaper prices, in order to be able to dictate the price alone.
That made the price rise to 32000 in 2014.
