Remember that Trump made his first appearance on the public stage suing New York City claiming he had been forced to rent apartments to "welfare deadbeats". It turned out the "welfare deadbeats" consisted of disabled veterans, city employees, pensioners and retirees living on SSI. He claimed the riffraff had damaged his apartments, but affidavits from repair services indicated the damages had come from faulty plumbing and wiring. He accused the deadbeats of failing to pay rent yet a court ordered review of his books failed to find a single instance of a renter failing to meet the grace period mandated by city law. This guy has a real hard-on for anyone beneath his class. You can expect him to make "47 percent" Mitt Romney look like St. Francis by comparison.
I expect him to make Hilary Clinton into another Yulia Tymoshenko, but don't look for an Amerisquare reolt to come to her rescue."I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!

But a better candidate from the democrats would have done it.
Most people in this country do not favor Trump. Unfortunately a vast amount don't vote. That's the problem. A lack of engagement was fatal for the democrats. The turn-out in the end really wasn't that good. It was in fact sharply down as in contrast to other years.
This year.. 59 million a piece. Obama received nearly 10 million more votes in 2008 than Hillary did in 2016. Yet we supposedly have a lot more voters now.

I'm not trying to corner you... It's just that all your predictions were totally wrong.
Probably ANY democrat except Hillary could have beat Trump. She was a terrible candidate. And the Democrats paid the price.Keep on Civin'

The voting totals are interesting. It appears to be a vote (by staying home) against Hillary as a candidate by former Obama supporters who wouldn't support Hillary. Moreso than anything Trump did.
(The Republican side of things is harder to pin down. How many traditional Rs stayed home or voted 3rd party, and how many new Trump who otherwise wouldn't have voted for traditional Rs?)

Gian... You keep making "predictions" as if they will be fact.
Your track record so far isn't too good.
The fact is, we don't know how things will turn out. Hell, Trump may not be so bad, or he could be terrible. Time will tell.
But your predictions which have been proved oh so wrong in the past are simply your opinions, and not fact or reality.
And you wishing 20% unemployment on an entire region of the country, when in most cases 45% or more of the people voted for your candidate simply shows your true colors. You claim that Trump is the candidate of hate, but here you are wishing pain and suffering on people... claiming THEY deserve it.
Who is the hateful one now?Keep on Civin'

I will agree to disagree and let this go. I understand I miscalculated, but democrats still had more votes. And even McCain had slightly more votes than Trump.
They voted for Trump potentially causing damage to this country. Do they deserve the pain and suffering? Frankly, nobody deserves it. The fact that you claim they DESERVE it pretty much shows your true colors.
Feel free to call Trump the candidate of hate, but don't forget to look in the mirror to see what hate looks like.Keep on Civin'
