"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

I feel guilty. Normally I like to pay for my entertainment (games, music, video) ... but I've been pirating laughs off of Trump without paying my fair share.

Aeson, you should donate to him. It will go to help his struggling businesses plus help launch Trump TV. You could get laughs for the next year until Trump TV goes under, since he decided to use your donation on a portrait instead lol.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

              give money to a politician?

on a serious note now I have only been to only one political rally.
that is if you don't count the communist ones where pretty much every young guy goes unless he's lobotomized (also called neoliberals) because they have the best rock bands.

So I've been to a syriza political rally.

              Before it won.

What struck me was how little people there were there. There was a party that was going to win national elections (twice!) and couldn't even fill syntagma square.

I took that as a sign of maturity. The peoples seawaves of previous decades on political rallies were over.

People weren't "enthusiastic". They just knew there was no other alternative.

              Necessity.

I went close to the podium to look at tsipras.

One thing stood out. It was something about clean hearts.

              And the music was great.
