    • And we've all been having fun calling you a douche.

I like my fun calling out the douche, not being one.

What you sick little brain considers fun is obviously a mystery to most here and your own business.

Personally I find the froth, over the top hilarious. It's like I come on the stage every day and here's rah, here's Ming, here's Giancarlo at the mic, and here I am trying not to corpse.

        • Again whatever your sick little desires.
Personally I prefer not to act like a douche. But if that turns you on, maybe you need to get laid.

            You draft your own posts?

Man you have way too much time on your hands.

              • I know you're not an American.

                Thanks for sharing.

Anyways, I'm done with this man's stupid bull****.

I just am quite sad right now. I'm not in the mood to argue with someone like him.

Given that I teach for a private school?

I disagree a bit. He wants the state to teach children they exist to serve the church. He believes the state and church are one.

That's actually incorrect ... Ben wants the state to withdraw from the education business, so it doesn't interfere with the indoctrination via homeschooling and religion based schooling

Perhaps. Maybe I misworded that a bit. He wants the church to become the new state. Everything would be directed by religious edict from the Church.

"Why does the state pay for education? The state has an interest in children and in regularizing marriage. From these presuppositions, the conclusion can be drawn that the state has an interest in recognizing marriage between one man and one woman."

you not only think the state should be indoctrinating children, you'd base marriage laws on the needs of the state

As I said I base my views on empirical evidence, therefore based in fact and evidence. My world view is not like Ben's. Ben lives in fantasy land and believes that there is a man in the clouds who controls everything lol. I don't.
Woaw, you're really not grasping this... I base my world view on empirical evidence, based on science as well.

I argue that when we look at those evidence, we will most probably interpret them in different ways because of different values. There is no objective truth. We just interpret results and construct truths around our own beliefs and values.

I will agree to disagree. That simply isn't how it is when it comes to my beliefs. And I grasped it just fine. You missed the point entirely.
