The guy accuses me of doing a terrible job at defending my argument. Look through this thread. Ben has done an awful job at defending anything. It wasn't only me. When he gets cornered, he quickly changes the subject and engages in various lies. He is a **** debater.

Again, a religious fanatic has a distorted view of the world. His world view is completely incorrect if you look at actual evidence. He is in the wrong. And his bigotry has stunk up this thread. And I think he needs a refund on his history degree... His knowledge of the constitution is one of the worst I have ever seen.

Maybe it's time Ming just locks this thread. It is obvious Ben is only here to stroke his own ego.
Your argumentation is correct according to yourself, not according to Ben. You seem to be stuck in the exact same cycle of 'my world-view is the only one that is right' as Ben.

I don't defend him and what he says at all, actually, factually speaking I am on your side. But, the way you present yourself and your arguments is just as infuriating as when Ben says something less than stellar. And yes, I agree, Bens tactics of shifting the discussion far away from the topic at hand is an ugly one, it is commony used online, I hate it myself.

You seem to be blinded in order to crush Ben and his truth, that you starting to sound like an upside-down version of him (Stranger Things analogy).

      Just think about it...

I have used evidence to back my world view, including links throughout this thread. Just take a look. And I am not the only one that calls Ben stupid. Many people here do that. That is a fact. He is stupid and ignorant.

So you say you are being fair? I don't think so.

Why are you so worked up by what people say on the internet? I've only been here a short time, and you seem to be angry or aggressive in many cases... I am fair, I agree with your point of view, but not in your way of arguing.

Who says I'm worked up? LOL

I am having fun here and you think I am taking Ben seriously?

My way of arguing is just fine. Sure I treat Ben like ****, but most people do that here too.

That is one of the worst arguments I've heard, in like...ever. I presume you understand why that's a really terrible thing to say?

Um yes it would be terrible for anyone, except Ben. Ask what others think of Ben and look at how they treat him here. He is a horrible person and is an admitted criminal who steals from the poor.

Again, I don't care for Ben. The way he hates on LGBT people is enough for me to treat him like ****.

Just to point out, you're doing what you just said that Ben does, shifting the conversation to focus on his awefulness. I don't give a flying sh*t about Ben. I don't agree with his arguments the least, and I don't plan on spending an extra second on his world-view.

You on the other hand, seem like a resonable, and relatively competent and smart person. I don't understand why you are so h*llbent on going down to his level?

If I as a third part just look at your conversation, it looks like two small petulant children are arguing with each other, calling each other names. Something that seems baffling to me when you argue that you are a man of science. If you believe Ben is a lost cause, just stop for gods sake.

if you put a price on water, there will be people who cannot afford to pay that price.

You just added 'self-sufficiency' because it suits your own beliefs. The time when the declaration was made, self sufficiency was just a part of life because there was no viable alternative for a lot of people.

Of course it was intended to put checks on the state, because it was written at a time when states genuinely oppressed the hell out of their citizens. It's amusing however that people like you don't give a damn about genuine state oppression (such as the horrorshow of rights violations that was the Patriot Act), but scream like a little ***** about a right that has basically no significance any more in the face of a military that could not be stopped by citizen owned firearms.

You are such a blithering idiot, it amazes me you can actually tie your own shoelaces. Every facet of your life has depended on subsidized, socialized services. Every time you drive down the street you're using infrastructure that was built using the wealth of society to provide a service to society. Yet apparently ensuring every citizen has access to the most fundemental resource of all, water, is some evil drain on the public purse.

Why should you be expected to pay for your neighbours water? Because you're a human being (sort of) who has benefited by the countless trillions of dollars former and current Canadian and American tax payers contributed to build those countries which allowed you to survive, get an educate (although we have our doubts..), and eventually relocate to a far away place where you actually wanted to be. Turn the clock back 200 years like your childish fantasies and you'd be stuck in a dead end ****ty job in the town you grew up in and you'd probably die there too.

You are quite literally the most selfish person posting here. The idea of helping other people to ensure they (and the very society you live in) thrive and flourish is just something beyond your apparent comprehension. It's kind of sad that you're such a very broken individual, who struggles with concepts other people find natural.

                        Seriously, who cares?

You guys keep on taking his bait over and over.

Just let the dude be. He's not even worth spending the time to respond to, because he will always skew the discussion towards something else.

                        • We know... and then he will look like a moron on the subject he changes it to. All part of the game for the bored

In this thread alone... he's proven himself a criminal, claims to know what God Thinks, has claimed that a pope or the Vatican Lies, has had many of his "facts" shot down as lies, and so much more. The hole is so deep, that he just has to keep on digging.
And on top of all that, he takes pride in the fact this monument to his own stupidity is one of the largest threads.

You can't make this kind of stuff up...

I have for many times discussed topics in full. It isn't my fault you haven't looked through this thread. I have a reputation for not letting an issue go. Ben makes this thread personal and all about him.

This funny thing is you spend more time attacking me than you have done with Ben. So you aren't a third party. A truly neutral person wouldn't be doing that. Sorry.

I do what I please. When I see that ass slandering my community, I will say something about it and you will not stop me

It didn't take me long to figure that Ben is a classic internet-troll. I see them everywhere, and I try not to indulge in their stupid games. As such I just ignore his part of the conversation, compleatly. He is not interesting.

You on the other hand, is interesting. The rational part of your mind must understand that this is a hopeless cause, but for some reason you still indulge in this madness. I mean, what do you hope to get out of this? IF Ben ever gives in? What will you have won? Is this really that important? Will you write this on your CV?
