But this is the big problem ... right wing groups may not only try to protect women, but rather go on and harrass asylum seekers (and foreign looking people) who haven´t done anything wrong ... they might also use violence against foreigners/foreign looking people (no matter if they have anything wrong or not). Right wing activists (especially skinheads) are known for their brutality against foreiogn people ... and this problem is especially serious in eastern germany (formally GDR), because in the GDR there never has been a process of denazification (the soviet controlled regime there always claimed that Nazis were only a problem of a decadent west but not of the "good" communist east ... therefore in the GDR the Nazi past was rather cast in silence, rather than resulting in any cleaning up actions against Nazis in the GDR population ... or any education attempts that tried to shield future generations against Nazi propaganda).
Which is why Neonazi groups (and parties) and their sympathizers have a relatively high membership in germanies east

Pegida, for example, the movement that protests against asylum seekers, started in Dresden ... which is interesting, considering that Dresden is an eastern german city that actually (at the time the demonstrations started) had only a tiny percentage of assylum seekers that were housed there (or in its vicinity)
(and Pegida nowadays is actually is seen as a movement that rather is known for rightist propaganda, rather than actually concerned citizens protesting there)

I hope that is true but I am not sure it is. After all Swedish officials have been caught covering up exactly these sorts of migrant rape and robbery mobs since at least 2014 and maybe longer.

I know in Germany officials frequently say they didn't report crimes to the public "to protect the victim's privacy" but that very easily could be used to cover up crimes by migrants which politicians who supported the open door policy might find politically inconvenient.

The accusation is certainly there and it has been said several times before. I tend to think where there is smoke there is fire but I am willing to hear what the politicians accused say. Right now, with the known cover ups and censorship, I am inclined to believe the worst. Certainly, wvery accusation needs to be looked into closely because so many of the accusations have turned out to be true.

let's take a couple of things you said and what the article says.

the article says that one union representative is accusing the government; you say it has been caught doing something.

the article says that the accusation is downplaying a problem; you say the government and police have done so by faking records.

those are pretty big differences. worse still, you then, based on your misreading of the article, go on to present those claims of yours as facts in later posts and use them as basis for further claims.
