Except you would still need gun control, because despite the many racially motivated killings, the majority of murders are of family or friends. Because when uncle Jack really pisses you off that night when you're drunk, or you just found out your wife has been banging the postman, or whichever other random event causes you to temporarily lose your ****, its an awful lot easier for that to turn deadly when you have a gun available.

Stop being stupid. The ability to wracking up mass casualties with other things is a lot smaller than a man with a semiautomatic firearm. Any old idiot with a desire and access to a gun can easily shoot a dozen people while it would take a god damned knife master to do the same. In terms of ease of use guns are the sweet spot and you know it.

Just look at suicide numbers and how 2/3rds of successful suicides involve a gun. Where as most nongun suicides are unsuccessful yet most gun related attempts are successful. Your bias is showing when you ignore such realities.
