Came close to voting libertarian in 2008 because of civil liberty issues, might actually go through with that this time unless the Republican nominee is especially unpleasant (like that ****er Cruz) but the idiotic shenanigans that the Republicans have pulled under Obama (debt ceiling, etc. etc.) make it really easy to vote against them.
Don't see Rand Paul being able to win the nomination if he is outspoken on civil liberties and non-interventionist issues in the face of the Republican primary electorate but if he's somehow able to do that I'd be pretty impressed. Still comes across as really smarmy to me though.
Ugh, I'm happy I've picked up homebrewing again, this looks like a good election season for heavy drinking and I'm working on stocking up a good reserve.
I am hopeful that if some movement is made on taxes that they will fix taxes for Americans abroad.

This is true. Although in Hilary's case they've been chipping away at her for over 20 years and she's still standing.
They thought that early in 2008 but in the end no big prize. All she had was taking the scraps offered her.

She didn't loose the nomination back in 2008 because of anything she did, she lost it because Obama was more charismatic and wasn't part of the 'establishment'.
