What? A healthy weight?! WTF is that? They should just specify the amount of calorie deficit/surplus allowed!Originally posted by Bugs ****ing Bunny View PostI think that's optional. The agencies specify that they need to be a healthy weight and leave it up to the individual. So you could, for example, go "Mmmmmm! I think I'll eat one less pie tonight, but without going to the trouble of analysing its calorific content down to the nearest picojoule!" and it would still probably work.
No, I meant the rockets, not the astronauts, silly.Originally posted by Hauldren Collider View PostI don't think this answers your question but flight surgeons carefully design diets for astronauts to keep their calorie intake/outtake balancedIndifference is Bliss

I would say it's a very narrow view to take which misses out on the meat of the issue. The factors that are involved with obesity are vast and wide.Originally posted by Bugs ****ing Bunny View PostThere are many paths that can be taken to reach the utterly necessary process of burning more calories than you consume in order to lose weight. People simply eating less and moving more is just one. However I'd suggest it's also the best.

Far from it. My words are weighty and reflect a well-rounded worldview. All I'm getting in response is just people chewing the fat or blubbering. The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland
