So the Russian response has been to cancel a gas pipeline through Turkey (something that hurts Russia as much as Turkey), to ban holiday travel to Turkey by Russians (again something the Russian middle class won't like since Egypt is already banned and the EU is too expensive for them), and to announce it will have more fighter escorts for bombers. The key test will be if Russia stops violating Turkish airspace and listens when Turkey says they will defend the Turkmen villages Russia has been bombing.
