Shooting down the russian plane would presuppose that the US-Advisor has radio contact with his higher ups at the time the attack happens ... and that the USA have planes wither in air or in alert mode on an airfield that is close enough to the location that is bombed.

IMHO a much more likely scenario is that, if an US advisor is attacked and killed, it will only be known during the next days after the attack (when an investigation is launched after the advisor hasn´t sent any reports during the next few days)

Let's get a bit geopolitical because Syria is already won (for peace).

(also I disagree with serb that the kurds will not accept a full autonomy witthin a federation. Their history is riffe with maximalistic demands in contrast to current geopolitical realities. And while this is certaintly commendable and brave, it's not smart very. So this time they will go the other way. At least that's what I think and see).


US does not want Russia to become western. US does not want Europea and Rusai to have good relations. For Europe to emancipate itslef and for Russia to democratize.

Before Putins ukrainian adventure, europe and russia had good relations ...
europe and russia still would have good relations if Putin hadn´t taken the chance to annex crimea and support the eastern ukrainian uprising (or maybe even instigate it).

I cannot blame the USA for Putin taking these steps
