probably guys like pchang ruled russia before.. and that's precisely why putin won
and that's because russians actually HAVE balls

    • OTOH, just for fun and since we're talking.
I took a taxi and the driver was georgian.
We got to talk alot about differrent realities, societies, economic models (oh yes, he was a univeristy professor in his country) and he told me that russians are like that. They don't mind living in small appartments and with asuterity as long as they expand and conquer.

      Then again, he was georgian

        • He was old and he told me a lot of life in georgia.
He used to be a very proud member of the communist youth there.
          But then his cosmotheory changed.
He said his father worked at a factory and it didn't matter if people there worked more, or less, or went to the job drunk, everyone was paid the same.

So everyone was living in a small appartment, and if they wanted to work more and make more, they couldn't.
He also seemed to really know russians btw

          • taxi drivers are great fun.

            Another was iranian.

So I asked him about the situation and he told me that kuwait people and arab emirates and all that were regarded as poor hicks by the iranians. Then they got oil and now they stride about like peacocks those dumb villagers whereas iran is dirt poor. and all that because of the regime there. but it was a jewel a cosmopolitan centre of the region.

He seemed very proud of the previous regime (which was actually a western fascist puppet, torturing the left wing there and selling the oil dirt cheap to the english, which is why the religious revolt happened).

So... while I agreed with his assupomtion of the current regime, I didn't agree with the assumption of the old regime (and figured he must have been a fascist supporter anyway) so we started talking about basketball

This reminds me of the stories we (in western german y) hear about, how it was when east germany still was the GDR.
It was basically the same ... it didn´t really matter (as a normal worker) whether you were lazy or industrious .. therefore many/most workers preferred to do as little work as possible

No, we didn't. In fact, if anyone was directly responsible for it it was Pakistan. We directly interacted with Tajiks like Ahmad Shah Massoud, but the Pashtuns were entirely a Pakistani show. The Taliban is a Pashtun organization.

Ok, fine, you prefer fairy tales. Then who gave ISIS weapons, if only your side supported rebels in Syria?
Saudi Arabia, The GCCs, Turkey, and whatever they recovered from battlefield pickups.

You've said that the US gave ISIS weapons. So, I'm gonna ask you directly, do you have a source for this claim? Maybe something other than RT?

Well, you tell that democracy is Russia is doomed, right?
I didn't claim that, but it's pretty telling that you don't know how healthy a democracy is if you point to people feeling safe enough to whine about the government in polls as indication that it's [i]doomed[/].

Fine, fine, Pakistan produces Stingers. I didn't know.

Ok, so basically USA arms some good rebels against a legal civil government, and by some unknown magic a legal civil government is being overthrown, or almost overthrown, and rebels mysteriously become religious fanatics who behead everyone in praise of Allah. And it happens both in Afghanistan and Syria, and USA, naturally, isn't in any way responsible for that. Fine.

Note that i'm not even talking how illegal it is to overthrow government in other independent country, because it was done by USA like 30 times already since the end of WW2, and noone in "democratic West" cares. I'm talking specifically about bringing guys almost no better than Hitler to power.

Look, i already said you. It's a fact that USA supported rebels in Syria. And any remotely sane person knows that supporting rebels means arming rebels - rebels don't need any other kind of support, other than maybe military instructors. I'm not a lawyer to ask for shipment documents. If rebels are armed enough to take on on an army directly, then they should have got weapons from somewhere, and USA was a biggest and most vocal supporter of rebels. Actually, USA even considered a military intervention themselves on the side of rebels, so i don't see how you can talk yourself out of it - usually weapon shimpents come much-much easier than a direct intervention.

LOL. "Safe enough"? It's the USA police that kills everyone left and right, and it's the USA who has the most prisoners in the world both in absolute and percent terms. It's the USA who uses national guard (army) against protesters.

But in some magical way in your twisted mind it's the Russia that is unsafe for common people, not USA
