  • Using Google Trends software, ‘Otakvot’ says he’s discovered the exact location of paid Internet trolls pushing Moscow’s line.

A Russian blogger finds out where Putin has his troll farms just using Google Analytics. That the Russians are so piss poor their online propaganda operations can be exposed via free online open source software makes them a total joke.

    • If Aeson does a lookup on Ellestar's IP address, will it point to Olgino?

I imagine Serb's IP address linking to some place like Krasnoyarsk-26.

They mask their IP address when they post using a service like anonimizer. The problem is they didn't do the same thing when they did Google searchs thus google could pin point them or rather Google Analytics could which means anyone who bothered to look on the internet could find them.

Like I said, Putin's propaganda troll farms are being run by people who aren't exactly crack aces at this whole internet thing.

Oh and let's not forget the peace and prosperity brought about by the illegal occupation of Eastern Europe for half a decade after the war, the millions of forced relocations, the torture, the gulags, the mass executions.

                You think we've forgotten?
Only after the West made a deal with Hitler and Nazi and gave them Czechoslovakia. You can't blame "evil dictators" for doing exactly the same what "peaceful democracies" did a year ago in the same region. And then doing it again when they didn't fight as an allies of Poland.

And i like how we "illegally occupied", for example, Baltic states, built industry there, and now you added Baltic states to EU and destroyed their industry once again. And now you repeat the same scenario with Ukraine - just look at their export structure after that "pro-EU" trade deal. The only thing saving Ukraine from becoming a banana republic is a lack of bananas growing on their territory.

NATO countries are not one big entity. The rarely agree on anything and they have their own interests at heart which usually conflict with others.
By talking about them as one huge entity, you just show your ignorance.
But that's the whole point. If the West acts as a united front and perfectly tolerates, say, invasions by USA, noone who suffers from the Western actions really cares if some of the western countries "don't agree" or do some other superifical actions that don't affect an outcome.

So, yes, for outside observer it's a one single entity that supports all actions of it's members. Who cares if they don't agree on something between each other? It's their own internal buisiness, it doesn't affect anyone.

                  • All the serious european countries were against the US butchering of Iraq (that created ISIS that destroyed Syria and that now fills european countries with deracinated syrians, iraqis, afphanis etc)

The West could have said no and done what about it? Invade Germany? With what? Also, what part of Czechoslovakia did Britain/France annex? How many Czech and Slovak business, cultural, political and military leaders did France/Britain deport/kill? Your whataboutism is like clockwork, but it's also Richard Mille clock-like in its idiocy.

Thanks for all the useless industry geared to you military machine, but you can shove it up your commie ass. I'm sure Finland, who was to suffer a similar fate had Mannerheim's iron balls and geography not saved them envied us all the industry and roads you built. You take territories and you turn them into ****.

And the myth of EU destroying Baltic industry is so bizarro-world that I can't even begin to refute it. Where should I start? Also, how does it feel to live on 1/8 of Earth's landmass with a nominal GDP of Netherlands (the size of maybe what, two Kaliningrad Oblasts?).

                              • It is a shame Russia is so backwards, poor, and poorly governed but I am willing to bet those problems are interlinked.
