That's what's messed up with "capitalism" "west" whatever.
They have glorified so much indivinduality when/because it suits their financial agenda that they have made any kind of collectivity redundant (or so they like to think).
Fight for the, I don't know, the right of people to walk backwards in national parks but don't you dare unionize
See? Even George Orwell confirms that when your president orders to ruin someone else's country, you're not victims but accomplices.
So you are an accomplice when Putin ruins another country?
And Orwell's quote seems to apply to a far greater degree to Putin. A deeply corrupt fraud who seems to display himself as some sort of bigshot (dictator in reality) of a decaying and crumbling nation.
The west is far from perfect, but you ought not to throw stones from a glass house. It doesn't lend credibility.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)
So, calling yourself an Empire is a good thing now?????
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
What? Russia is an empire. How the hell empire is supposed to exist if we're nationalists? Just look at the Poland and Lithuania, for example. They ceased to be an empire because they are nationalists - Poland is a mononational state, and Lithuania tries to become one.
Besides, we had our "Fraternity of peoples" when you still thought that afroamericans are ******s, long before you "invented" your idea of "tolerance".
The real story is that Putin and Russia are for "countryism" (independent countries should strive to protect their own inerests more than they are doing it now). Capitalists are for globalism (international corporations exploiting weak countries).
So, naturally, capitalists and their talking head Clinton are against any efforts to reduce exploitation of weaker independent countries (as usual in a world history), so it marks Russian efforts for the better of humanity as "nationalist", even if there is nothing nationalistic in them.
the main "grip" with putin is his allegended metaphysicallity. That he has married the supernatural into the public discourse.
The same people that say that will freak out when they hear the "bless god" the american president spews out any chance he gets.
it's the same like those calling for a further separation of church and state in greece (not that I'm against it) and on the same time forget that in holland you need to be a protestant to be king
(OK there are grips with democratic deficits but when a murican comes to point them out we bust a chop laughing)
So you are an accomplice when Putin ruins another country?
And we ruined who exactly? It was your "pro-EU" coup that ruined Ukraine. And Georgia started a war against Russia by attacking and killing Russian peacekeepers in 2008. And that concludes the list of possible candidates.
On the other hand, a list of countries recently ruined by NATO is hard to count. Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, to name top five.

That's a cool story, Mr Putin. Cool story.
Illegally occupying territory in another country is something Russia has done plenty of times in the recent past.
Oh and Afghanistan. A Russian criticizing NATO on Afghanistan is the very definition of irony.

I'll agree that US record is terrible (just expressing an opinion)
You can't really say NATO because in Iraq they had albania poland and however else as "allies".
In fact, they had no allies apart from the UK if participation is measured.
(buying off a few sad political persons here and there is nothing)
They are like nazi germany and they have killed many people.
They are the last to criticize Russia. They are murderers of peoples. Simple as that.
Now moving on to human rights.
I remember in Pakistan, they had allies dictators. They dined with them cuddled them. Not to say anything about Saudi Arabia, Tukrey and the like.
So it is beyond laughable that nazi clowns the likes of Dinner would come up here and preach about human rights in Russia (not counting even his own country's abysmal record).
Fact is, people like dinner are sold outs, completely compromised.
The US record might be checkered, but they look like angels compared to the Soviet Union and now Russia. And I have criticized the US plenty of times. I just am able to see this from a middle ground. Russia has plenty of unsavoury friends, including Bashar Al-Assad (who unfortunately is the only option for Syria right now).

More like a free democratic referendum. You can't call yourself a democrat if you're against a direct democracy.
And it wasn't what destroyed Ukraine and it's economy either. Your "pro-EU" coup did it.
Besides, what about economic help to your "pro-EU" country? It's in your balance now, and their GDP is somewhere in the bottom half of African countries. And USA envoy said that Ukraine should become "agrarian superpower". That's how you call "banana republic" now, right? One more poor country believed USA and become banana republic. A good lesson for idiots all over the world.
I heard USA were allied with Kurds, and now USA thrown their ally to the wolves. Well, i guess USA doesn't have a shortage of idiot allies. All of EU, for example. Plenty of sacrifical lambs out there.
Oh and Afghanistan. A Russian criticizing NATO on Afghanistan is the very definition of irony.
We tried to make Afghanistan a better place, bulding schools and factories and fighting radical muslims there.
You (successfully) financed radical muslims, and then (unsuccessfully) fought against them themselves. And the only thing you built in Afghanistan is opium production, 90% of world output is not a small feat to achieve.
So, again, USSR built schools and factories in Afghanistan, and fought radical muslims. USA financed radical muslims and grows opium in Afghanistan. Which side is evil one by modern democratic standards? What a hard choice Almost a tie

Lol. Russia.
Democracy.
Oxymoron.
This is really Russian government propaganda I think. and the Kurds? The US is definitely arming them.

By the way, where does Russia rank GDP per capita wise? I can't imagine too well. Decaying country with a demographic crisis worse than any in modern history. It is so bad a third of the Russian army isn't even fit enough to fight.
