In a recent thread I stated that I had never used a hooker and Kid seemed to be amused by that.
I don't know if that was because he didn't believe me or just that I never had.

I don't think it's as common as he might believe. But that could be for anyone. Not just him.

Thinking of the posters here, I believe that those that have used them are probably in the minority.

So I thought I do a poll.

I'll make it private.

And if you don't feel the need to be private about their use, please feel free to post what you paid. Mainly for my curiosity. If it was awhile ago please feel free to post the year so we can see how inflation has impacted the cost. And of course, any background information about the circumstances or the actual event would be appreciated for the amusement of all.

I actually thought you were telling a joke. I wasn't laughing at you for not paying for hookers. Like I said, I haven't for a long time. I think 20 years. Actually I had a gf that was charging other men for sex, but wasn't counting her.

I've never felt the need to pay for sex, or sexual activities (strippers, lap dances, etc.). I don't really see the point / find them appealing, but then again, it is pretty trivial to find porn about pretty much anything you might be interested in, so...

Never used a hooker. Wouldn't really work with my not liking physical contact from non-intimate partners thing.

I'm curious about whether those who have not are opposed in some way, or just haven't needed to/had the opportunity.

Hookers seem like an awesome way to simultaneously get robbed by a woman and acquire an STD.

You can get robbed by letting a repairman into your house. Unlikely to get AIDS from the plumber, though.

For me it was no need. My youth was in the 70's before Herpes (at least major knowledge of it) and AIDS. Anything you could catch was treatable. As a result it really was the generation of free love. Getting women in the sack was not really hard back then and I was quite the nerd. (that's how easy it was)

Now I'm married, so it's just the occasional stripper at bachelor parties or a night out with the guys, which is more a male bonding ritual and not really cruising for sex.
I consider lap dances pretty harmless. I'm sure others might think differently.

Considering that Kidicious has hired hookers in the past, I'm surprised he hasn't gone off the rails about the evils of hiring hookers - that seems to be a recurring pattern with him, e.g. "I used to smoke pot, therefore pot is Evil"

Well if he did smoke pot when he was younger than by his own admission he has decreased mental abilities.

Nope. Never felt the need to. And I've never been to a strip club either.
