This was what I was afraid of wrt calling the police. The people who helped me left after I kept insisting they go. I doubt there are any cameras in the area with a view of the intersection. So it would boil down to he said he said.

It's been a few hours. I'm not seeing any bruises. I did get a small cut on my hand. Otherwise, I'm pretty content with the outcome. That dip**** pissed me off more than he did hurt me... and I managed to cause him... what... a few hundred in damages? What's a mirror repair cost?

I also got a semi-entertaining life story out of it.
